Jennifer is a native of North Carolina. She agreed to accompany Lowry to Tampa 34 years ago after graduating from Wake Forest University where she majored in Anthropology and studied abroad in New Zealand.

After stints as Water Quality Analyst, Travel Agent and full time mom to three sons she joined Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners in 2008 in the Private Risk Management arena. BKS is an award-winning independent insurance brokerage firm providing private and commercial risk management and employee benefits. Jennifer is currently a shareholder and Managing Advisor and enjoys working with individuals, families, and Family Offices to better understand and structure their Insurance and Risk Management programs to fit their lifestyles. This includes a holistic approach to include their professional and enterprise endeavors. Jennifer’s areas of interest include construction and the environment that led her to achieve and maintain her LEED Green Associate designation and membership in USGBC.

In the community Jennifer has enjoyed volunteering with Red Cross, Tampa Bay Watch, Habitat for Humanity, and Meals on Wheels over the years. She loved her time as Cub Scout Den Mother. She served on the Academic Foundation at Plant High School and Marina Committee at Tampa Yacht & CC and remains active on Advisory Council at Tampa Bay Watch and Board of Trustees for the Morean Arts Center in St Petersburg.

Jennifer’s most proud achievement is that she and Lowry and her sons all survived (and mostly enjoyed) their “raising” and still live in the same town, work and vacation together.
