Florida Funders’ is thrilled to announce the appointment of Rachel Sapoznik to the Board of Directors, effective immediately.

With over 30 years of corporate wellness and insurance industry experience, Sapoznik will assist the Florida Funders Board in strategic decisions around the organization’s future. Sapoznik will provide invaluable insight into the South Florida market. She has been a market leader and angel investor for decades and offers a unique perspective from the insurance sector.

Sapoznik is the Founder, President, and CEO of Sapoznik Insurance, one of the region’s largest employee benefits agencies, which was recently acquired by World Insurance Associates. Sapoznik is a leading health care expert with numerous accolades to her name, nationally recognized for her work, and was named one of Employee Benefits Advisor’s Most Influential Women in Benefits Advising.

Aside from her business accomplishments, Sapoznik authored a book, A Passion for Wellness: Healthy Employees, Healthy Bottom Line, which was on Amazon’s bestseller list for new releases. A staple in the community, Sapoznik always makes it a priority to help the communities she serves. As a leading philanthropist in South Florida, she has been appointed to the Jackson Health Foundation Board of Directors and serves on the boards of The Education Fund and JAFCO, both of which are dedicated to improving the lives of children.
