ABOUT THE SEED FLORIDA FUND
Florida Funders, a hybrid venture capital firm and crowdfunding platform has teamed up with the University of South Florida (USF) to establish the SEED Florida Fund.
SEED Florida is an innovative seed-stage fund created with support from a U.S. Economic Development Association Grant to USF, addressing the ongoing challenge of limited available capital for early-stage seed investments. Florida is home to dozens of quality incubators and accelerators, 28 public research institutions and several of the top 25 markets for startup activity.
But Florida has limited capital available for seed-stage start-ups.

OUR PROCESS
Florida Funders deal team reviews more than a thousand deals per year with 50% of them at seed-stage level. Our experienced deal team works in conjunction with Seed Florida investment and advisory committees to engage industry and technology subject matter experts and ensure that the companies we are investing in are the most likely to succeed.
