Florida-focused investor network and online investing platform appoints Candice Rezvanian as Director of Founder Success, who will leverage over seven years of entrepreneur and investment experience

TAMPA, FL (January 22, 2020) Florida Funders, a hybrid venture capital firm and crowd-funding platform providing early-stage capital to Florida companies, announces the appointment of Candice Rezvanian as their new Director of Founder Success. In her new role, Rezvanian will work directly with founders and portfolio companies to identify opportunities and assist in obtaining the resources they need. In this very hands-on role, Rezvanian will also work closely with sponsors, subject matter experts, entrepreneur support organizations, and Florida Funders 1,300+ network of accredited investors, to serve as a direct resource to Florida Funders’ portfolio companies.

“As a leader in the entrepreneurial space, we are thrilled to have a Director of Founder Success, like Candice, onboard the Florida Funders team,” said Tom Wallace, Managing Partner at Florida Funders. “With our continued growth, we trust that the addition of Candice to our leadership team will allow us to continue building strong relationships within the entrepreneur and venture ecosystems and expanding on our success.”

Rezvanian has previous experience working in the entrepreneur support and investment space for the last seven years. She supports early and growth-stage entrepreneurs working for startups, growth-stage companies, accelerators, and investment funds. Prior to Florida Funders, Rezvanian was an early team member at Village Capital, where she sourced, trained, and invested in early-stage companies participating in VilCap accelerator programs. At Endeavor, she assisted in opening their second US-based office in Louisville, KY where she developed a mentor network of Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 CEOs, executives and founders to support growth-stage company founders who also received access to Endeavor’s talent, networks, and capital. Most recently, Rezvanian worked for a family office impact investment fund, Radicle Capital, where she worked closely with portfolio company founders and senior team members to aid in achieving key metrics and outcomes to grow their ventures.

Originally from Louisville, KY, Candice relocated to Tampa, FL to join Florida Funders.

“My primary focus at Florida Funders will be identifying how we can best serve our founders’ needs through developing and refining founder support initiatives around those findings,” said Rezvanian. “I’m honored to work with a passionate team as we position ourselves for continued prosperity. I look forward to bringing my experience and skillset to Florida Funders to support each founder in the portfolio.”
