At Florida Funders we are proud that we don’t just provide our companies with capital, but also are there to guide them as they grow. One way we can help is by providing them referrals to resources that we know and trust. Our portfolio companies are continually in need of professional services ranging from CPAs to sales training and marketing firms. To help formalize our process of providing appropriate connections and referrals, we have partnered with trusted advisors who have become Florida Funders’ corporate sponsors. This sponsorship program provides our portfolio companies and investor base with visibility to our trusted sponsors, and vice versa. Florida Funders is honored to recommend each of these firms for the work that they do.
Attorneys in Our Network
We have a network of over 700 accredited investors (and growing each day) who are able to review available investment opportunities. We refer to these investors as “the crowd,” who invest alongside the Florida Funders Investment Fund, at the same terms. We also turn to this crowd when we are looking for specialized expertise or knowledge, to help us during our due diligence process. Many of these investors are some of the most successful entrepreneurs, investors and executives in the state of Florida. There is power in the crowd!
Channel Partners can range from angel groups, funds, schools, organizations, and even individual angels. These partners will be able to post investment opportunities on our platform by leveraging our investor portal, back-office services, and software integrations to make fundraising process easier and more efficient.
One of our most recent channels is the Institute for Commercialization of Florida Technology (the Institute). Florida Funders is proud to have been selected by the Institute to manage their investment-related affairs. The Institute’s portfolio consists of 60+ life science and technology companies located throughout Florida. As the Private Fund Manager, Florida Funders will guide new investment decisions for the Institute. The mission of the Institute is to provide seed funds and attract new capital to Florida’s most promising innovation startups. Learn more about the organization.
